One of the main purposes of STEAM education is to develop skills that respond to the current and future challenges for the digital society. Diario Financiero, together with the VTR Foundation, published an article on this issue, in which our director contributed with her thoughts and visions. Ana María Raad mentioned that “being in a digital or connected society is not the same as being a truly digital citizen” and referred to the importance of an education that allows the use of technologies as well as the development of collaboration, mutual respect, creativity, among other key skills.
